TEPSA will showcase its latest developments, such as the new plastic crate models which prevent repackaging.
Known as the “European Seafood Expo“, it is the world’s largest seafood trade fair event for the industry of fish processing and marketing. It will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of April 2015 in the Brussels Expo (Belgium).
This fair features more than 1.700 exhibiting companies from over 75 countries. It is estimated that the fair attracts over 25.800 buyers and suppliers from all industries related to seafood products.
Returnable plastic crates, investing in sustainability
the new 12, 15 and 25 litre formats allow for the use of a single plastic crate from the manufacturer to the final consumer, preventing repackaging and maintaining the product’s quality intact.
Returnable plastic crates for fresh fish sales reduce waste generation to a minimum, prevent excessive handling and are less costly than single use systems. Moreover, since they are manufactured with High Density Polyethylene, they are 100% recyclable.
Many professional wholesalers, dispatch centres and central markets are changing to these new plastic models for the direct marketing of fish, especially due to the problems of waste management which the use of single-trip crates cause.
TEPSA’s stand will have 12m2 and its number will be 4-5811. It will be situated in Hall 4, which is devoted to companies within the machines, packaging and seafood industry equipment and services sector.
