The ageing step is the last one in the cheese processing process, and it is of crucial importance to take care of the environmental aspects, for example, the moisture, temperature or ventilation. Available with perforated or smooth bottom

The perforations on the bottom of the crate allow the lower side of the cheese to “breath”. Unless a grate with legs is placed under the cheese, it is desirable to use crates with perforated bottoms.

European pallet measurements

LThe 80x40cm size is compatible when palletising with the Europallet measurements (80×120 cm), this characteristic allows you to take the maximum advantage of the space for transport and cheese storage. We also have a wide range of European size pallets approved for food use available in our catalog.

Crossed stacking

The crossed stacking is to place the crates alternating their position on the pallet, this way the crates are “intertwined” when stacking and really stable crates towers are formed. With this characteristic the need of wrapping pallets with stretch film is avoided, in contrast to other models that need to do that because of safety reasons.

Crossed stacking gives much more stability to crate columns.

Nestable when empty and stackable with product inside

The 50% nestable TEPSA crates nest or stack depending on their position. They allow to save 50% of the space when nesting because half of the crate above is inside the crate underneath. In addition, this model has a rib system on its top rim which makes the staking much easier allowing the crate above to slide over the one below until the first one fits into the rib system of the second one remaining fixed over it.
